Kuo Chwen was born in Pingtung, Taiwan. He is known for his superb depiction skills, as well as delicate painting skills with strong surrealism narrative. The artist's works are permeated with a lot of dream and fantasy elements. Using surreal painting language, he thinks about the real and illusory nature of life, and explores the state of human mind and life issues.
